Hints about viewing pictures, slideshows, and video:
If the pictures are too small: Click on the picture to see a much larger version. Click the back button in your browser to return to the blog.
If you'd like the .jpg file for a picture, right click it and choose "Save Picture As..."
To see slideshows better: Click on the slideshow to "activate" it. Then click the plus to speed it up or the minus to slow it down. Hover over a picture to see the caption for that pic.
To play videos: Click the video to "activate" it and then click the "Play" button (the triangle). I like to pause it immediately and wait for the whole thing to buffer so I don't get blips while watching it.

Samantha's First Swimming Lesson!

What a fun adventure. We went to Samantha's first swimming lesson today and she did wonderful. It's her first time in any water besides her bath and she loved it. She kicked, she floated, and she didn't even mind too much when she got dunked. She did manage to drink a little water, but I'm guessing that's to be expected. I have a lot of other video and photos that I'm hoping to get on our blog, but in the meantime, here is some footage from today's swimming adventure!

Samantha on the Kickboard
9 seconds 18 MB
Her first intro to the water. It was already looking like she was going to enjoy this!

Running and then Diving
11 seconds 22 MB
Smiles did show up after she sputtered out all the water!

Kick Kick Kick!!!
35 seconds 66 MB
Sam actually started kicking as we swam to the wall. We were both having a ton of fun!

Ready for swim team!!!
12 seconds 11 MB
This was at the end of class. Samantha was still having a blast and so was I!
